Monacor UK Ltd
The UK branch of Monacor run a B2B retail business for audio and lighting technology. They focus on equipment for corporate installations and events. They are part of a larger European company and for many years were using their site for their online store. This meant they were limited and couldn’t customise the site. Monacor UK approached LMD Design to design and build an entirely bespoke site for them. With this new site they can fully customise their message and make it their own.
There were a few technical features that the site had to follow:
Purchasing through the site has to be limited to registered users
Users have to be manually registered or approved
Stock feeds on items need two separate warehouse feeds; UK and European
Payment methods available to users must be tailored to their user account
It was important that the new site followed the well established corporate image of Monacor. We were sure to follow brand guidelines but also push their image to be the best possible. Along with Monacor products, the business also sells a wide range of other brands that need to gel together.
With over 4,000 products for sale, the scale of this site is significant. The products range across eight different brands.
